We are Committed to Providing Quality, USDA Grass-Finished beef

The Lazy 69 Ranch is located in the foothills northeast of the Sacramento Valley near the headwaters of Cedar Creek at an elevation of 2,500 feet.  With abundant rainfall exceeding 60 inches per year, the countryside is bubbling with perennial springs, rich meadows and a diverse array of natural grasses.

Cattle Grazing on Healthy Grass

Our natural, grass-fed program is personally managed daily consisting of  rotational grazing on an assortment of native seasonal grasses. Locally grown grass (baled grass hay) is provided as a supplement during the coldest winter months when portions of the pastures are snow covered or dormant.

USDA standards for grass-fed beef are always met or exceeded as our cattle are grass-fed and finished. We do not introduce low level antibiotics, growth stimulating hormones,  feed lot fillers or feed byproducts at any time.

Our personal focus is to raise cattle one at a time humanely in a natural setting free of pesticides, foreign ingredients and additives.  Although we're not certified organic, we are reaching beyond organic by providing our cattle a 100% grass diet from start to finish.

We have made the feed/food connection realizing that the way animals are raised and fed makes all the difference. The quality of the feed going in is directly proportional to the quality of the beef product.  We  enjoy being responsible stewards of the land and sharing the health benefits of beef raised naturally with you and your family.

Ordering information

Just a quick note to tell you we LOVE the beef. It's amazing. It smells the way beef smelled when I was a kid (I grew up with farm raised grass fed beef from a family farm). Thanks again and I can't wait to order more in the future.
